Hurt Brings Hiatus..

Just thought that I would share this with my blogger friends.. The title really says it all.. I will be back soon.. I did however go to lunch with one of my mentors from church.. We had some Applebee's on Tuesday because we closed the office early due to water problems that the majority of the Greater Jackson area are facing.. PURE CHAOS.. But good time to stay at home and get some housework done.. Thanks Jen for the encouragement!! I am putting this on my blog only because it was very encouraging to me.. Maybe it will help someone else too that is going through a hard time..

The Lord will work out his plans for my life -- for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don't abandon me, for you made me. Psalm 138:8 NLT

I read my encouraging word for today and it still amazes me that when you need something God provides it. I have talked to 4 women this week who are going through things in the life or marriage and the one thing they all had in common was they were scared. I believe God has my back and He has your back and He will never allow satan to break you. I sat in renewal last night and Chip was leading us through prayer, but I could not pray with him as he wanted....I had an overwhelming sense that God wanted me to pray for others...not me...I started my prayer with praise to Him for all He has done in my life, then I started praying for the women I had spoken to this week....I asked for God's hand to be felt in each of their lives. Last night was a very moving night for me....and then I read the scripture above this morning and it sums it all up. God is faithful....His love endures forever...God does not abandon us....He knows the plans for our lives...He made us.....
We are children of God. We have to take the time to talk to Him. God has done amazing things in my life over the last 4 1/2 years....at times I wanted to turn my back because I felt He had let me down but I am telling you from experience...the times when we feel like God is not listening and answering our prayers, He is, we just don't like what He is saying. Pray for your miracle. God will answer...remember He is faithful.
