Storybook Weekend..

This was the ceiling on Friday night at the Palisades pool house.. Trendy pink and black balloons to help celebrate friend's of my hubby and I's 30th birthdays.. Misti and Ginger walked in to see this.....

Yummy finger foods...

A two tiered pink cake with white polka dots..

Lots of friends with wigs on to greet them..

My ruby red slippers to go with my Dorothy themed wig from the Wizard of Oz..

Misti and Ginger's hubbys brought wigs for them but I think that they saw how crazy silly we all looked and decided themselves not to wear their wigs.. Not to mention the wigs made our heads itch.. Everyone was scratching like they had head lice.. ha :)

Chow down!! It was a couple's party, but Brant stayed at home with all three of our youngens so that I could go and have a girl's night for a few hours with my friends.. Thank you my awesome hubs!! You are fabulous and I love you..

Ginger's son Lake grooved the night away.. (We all did) :-).. Shhh... Sooo.. After a couple of hours with my friends I took off to go and get Abbey and Sarah from Common Ground at church.. I was really pushed for time.. I had a rather "large and in charge" caterpillar cake to make for a little boy's birthday party that was on Saturday.. After I picked the girls up we headed into Walmarch to get my supplies in this......

SNOW!!! My children loved it!! Brant and Brandon pretty much stayed in it through the weekend hunting.. They saw some deer and had a great time.. The lucky hunter this weekend was Brant's grandaddy.. He killed a six point.. Brandon came back saying that was supposed to be his deer.. Brant reassured him that they will kill one, that is what hunting is.. Not just killing the first thing that they see, but rather looking out for that big ole daddy buck.. After coming home with all of our supplies I sent the girls off to bed bc they had to wake up at the crack of dawn to head back into the church house for more dancing with Common Ground.. ( I videoed their routine.. It looks awesome!!) Anywho, I stayed up with this fella here... He turned out really cute.....

After delivering this gigantor to his birthday boy I made my way to pick up the girls from church again.. I took them to eat some good sushi for lunch and they wanted to see the New Moon movie.. Now I had already seen it twice and can basically quote it, but that is what they were geared up and ready to go to.. I would of been hesitant about taking two 11 year olds to see this but as many times as I had seen it I knew it was perfectly fine..

Sunday the girls snuck out to play in the snow.. I love what they made....

Then we took some Christmas pictures for fun....

Take one

Take two..

Take three..

Take four..

And last.. We made our traditional reindeer cookies.. I love doing this yearly with my babies.. Hopefully they will pass this tradition down to their youngens too..

Uno more... Abbey helped me to pull this T-Rex cupcake cake together on Sunday afternoon.. She is so awesome in the kitchen.. She gets that honestly.. :) That's my girl!! Brant and I had date night last night.. We went to see the Blindside and had some dinner together.. We had a great time enjoying one another and I have awesome personal reviews about this Christian flick!! I hope that you guys had a great weekend too!!
