Soo.. I was tagged by my brother's wife Lindsay.. I heart tags (emails), but often times I can not respond back bc work is so chaotic.. :( So without further adue, aside from mostly sounding generic here are the 10 things in my life that I am most thankful for....
1. My relationship with my Heavenly Father.. I enjoy spending time with Him in prayer daily, also reading my Joyce Meyer devotions every morning.. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is already laid, which is Jesus Christ.. 1 Corinthian 3:11
1. My Super Fab Hubby here that just brought me lunch even though he is incredibly busy with work today.. Compliments of myself leaving my clutch in Mandy's car last night after going to the movie.. Thanks babe!! Lordy guys, we have seen our share of ups and downs but we are closer now than we have ever been.. It is the most wonderful feeling, and to have your best friend there to share it with makes all the difference in the world.. He has been my rock.. And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and really believing, you will receive.. Matthew 21:22
In marriage, each partner is to be an encourager rather than a critic, a forgiver rather than a collector of hurts, an enabler rather than a reformer.
A great marriage is not when the 'perfect couple' come together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
3. Our Sweet Peas.. One of my favorite scriptures for my youngens is, "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. " Proverbs 8:7 We are so blessed to have healthy, beautiful, well minded children that complete our lives everyday.. We never have a dull moment at our home.. :)
4. Priceless Moments incorporated with pure insanity.. *Like moment number 112,399 above.. Seven (Im sure that number will only grow larger over the years) grandchildren getting to know "The Big white bearded guy" as shown.. **Lindsay you only need to feel sorry for me this year.. Lillian will probably love the beard and hat, and little sweet Rhodes will not know to be scared of him.. BUT.. You know that this year Addi will be turning around out of sheer curiousity to see who's lap she is sitting in.. Hmm.. What a picture that'll be.. :-) Brant and I are excited about the kids going to Bass Pro to see ole Santa man tonight..
5. My God given ability to Multitask!! Having a hubby, multiple children, a small cake business, a house that constantly needs picking up, folding clothes etc., a 40 plus hour job with doctors that I OCD over daily and the list goes on people.. I love schedules, multitasking and having a plan for everything..
6. For family and friends that will stick by me through thick and through thin daily.. That edify me and my family and I know that I could always count on.. Blood is thicker than water and family will always be there for you.. :)
7. Holiday time.. Okay guys, aside from the d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s grub that we all sit around the table to eat, we really come together as a family at Holiday time.. Memorable fellowship with family members that some of us have not seen in ages.. It is a time that we can all rejoice and celebrate together the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..
****Now for more of the little everyday things that I have come to love lately....
8. OPI nailpolish.. I am addicted and love the new fall colors..
9. My crockpot.. On busy days I love love to stick something for dinner in the crockpot that way when I get home I dont have to worry about cooking at all.. I have a freakin wonderful outlook of a work day if I already have the crockpot slaving over dinner instead of me later.. ha!
10. My comfy lepard cloggers that I wear at work.. ;-)
And one more.....
11. K Love.. I love Christian Radio.. ** I do listen to other stations as well.. But there is something gratifying about hearing my children singing to "Jesus Songs" in the car..
