Confessions of a Cake Diva..

This past weekend was fun.. I had a wedding cake to do for a sweet friend and I KNOW that it turned out awesome.. This five tierd white on buttercream was a monster.. Your basic birthday cakes were just not challenging me, though I still enjoy doing them often.. Brant got alot of good pictures.. We had some friends come over Friday night and they were a big help!! Thanks Bobby and Jennifer.. I hope that Kaytlin feels better..

After we delivered the cake on Saturday to the Country Club we went and chowed down on some chicken and rice at Cracker Barrel.. Napping came next, and then we got dressed up and had a date night out to Walker's Drive In.. It was D-E-licious!! We actually got there and they were having a lady's 50th birthday celebration so we got some laughs out of some funny folks that were drinking quite a bit.. We actually saw some of our friends come in and they sat next to us and ate.. Heath and his wife are expecting a little girl the first of October.. Congrats guys!!

Sunday was uneventful, which is great.. Brant and I went to church.. Chip preached a really fabulous sermon.. Im glad that we went.. I wish the kids would of been home so that we could of taken them.. We miss you Abbey and Brandon!! After church we stopped and talked with some friends of ours.. It was great to catch up with them and even planned to grab some lunch this coming Sunday after church so that we can all catch up and the kids can play..

I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend too.. We have a really busy one coming up!! We will have no time to sit at all!! Pictures will be up soon..
