Orange Cake Take 1 and 2..

Last night I am so glad that my icing had such wonderful patience and understanding.. I worked on this particular cake for a while.. Usually I start a cake having a mental picture of what I would like for it to look like.. A friend of mine asked for me to do a cake for a girl with mainly orange colors.. That is obviously her favorite color!! So what she had in mind was orange polka dots.. So you have the cake at the very bottom.. It has the polka dot theme.. I felt like it was too busy though.. So I did some major construction on it and the 1st cake is what I came up with.. I think it is fabulous.. Next time we do polka dots I will not use so many!!! Anyway, the cake is funfetti.. That may start being pretty popular for kids.. We will see!!
