Our Family Christmas Cards..

We (as in Abbey and I) made homemade Christmas cards last night.. They were so stinkin cute.. I took their picture a couple of weeks ago when I put up the Christmas tree and put some reindeer antlers on all of them.. SO CUTE!! So what I had planned on doing was to just run up to Walgreens and get some Christmas cards made with the picture on it.. Well.... I just wanted to be a little more creative this year.. I got some scrapbook scissors and cardstock and went to town drawing on them.. Abbey is so creative, she drew one for me and finished up by drawing on the actual envelopes.. She drew some pretty fun pictures of wreaths, crosses, and ornaments.. I am so excited about getting them out into the mail..

Today the boys are planning on going hunting.. Brant knows some guys in Flowood that have a pretty good amount of land that he just goes hunting on.. He and his Dad also have a deer camp they go to with some other guys up past Canton.. He has taken his dad and Clint with him this week.. On Tuesday he and his dad shot a 15 point deer.. His rack was HUGE!! We had dinner over at Brant's parents house on Tuesday night and saw what was left of him in a cooler.. He had an ENORMOUS rack.. Brant lives for this kind of stuff.. Last night he went with Clint and they both killed does.. So... Brandon went with him to go and clean them.. Brant wants for this to be their thing, so he takes Brandon with him all the time.. He says since this will be his only son he wants that companionship with him.. I am so greatful for their relationship.. So I have decided when they get back from hunting this afternoon, Abbey and I will go out for some sushi and just have a girl night together.. Anyway, we have a big weekend planned so I look forward to blogging about it on Monday!!
