Food for the Reindeer..

On Christmas Eve Abbey and Brandon spent a couple of hours with their Daddy and Step mom.. When they came home I had been asleep on the sofa for about an hour.. Thank goodness for my husband, I had put some cookies in the oven so that the kids could put them on a plate with some milk for Santa.. Well.. Santa smelt them cooking and thankfully he pulled them out of the oven before they burnt.. I was zonked out sleeping.. Exhausted from the hustle and bustle of Christmas!! Anyway, when Abbey and Brandon got home I gave them the reindeer food for them to put on the front lawn so that Rudolph could find his way to our home.. In the bag there were oats and colorful sparkles.. It was pretty neat.. By the way, Addi missed out on the fun.. Her curfew is usually around 830 every night or she is a pill to swallow with her mood.. Wonder where she gets that from??!! :-)

After we sprinkled the reindeer food on the lawn we did our usual Christmas Eve tradition.. We opened one present.. I always buy a different set of pajamas every year for all of my children to open on Christmas Eve.. I think it is neat for the kids to open something that is NOT a toy.. So that was our Christmas Eve.. It was very relaxing and uneventful.. Santa was VERY good to everyone at our house, let me post that next..
