One Life to Live..

We only get one life to live... You know my 9 year old, Abbey, my precious angel, has been playing softball now since the spring league.. At first we had some dramatic things errupt during ball which ultimately caused so much drama that softball began to not look too appealing to me.. When you can tell that your child has so much going on in her life, your heart just dies inside for them.. Her parents marrying within the same year, pregnancy within that same year.. Now granted, we would of loved to of been married for a little bit longer before having a baby.. But the good Lord thought differently for Brant and I.. When I found out that I was pregnant, I had some things planned to happen. Well.... that definitely could not be done since I was now pregnant.. Brant was just beside himself overwhelmed with the fact that he was going to be called, "Daddy" now.. The very first thing that came out of his mouth was, "I wonder what Abbey and Brandon will think and say.." Well, without another moment of saying a thing, he and I gave my pregnancy another week or so and we were just busting at the seams.. We had to tell the most important little people in this world to us.. When we told our kids, Abbey's response was.... "Oh no, your pregnant?? No, you're not pregnant!! What?? Well, Brant's eyes got so big... Well because he thought that he was going to hear differently from her.. Brandon just kinda sat there with his mouth open while Abbey had her breakdown.. Well, that weekend was filled with a beach trip and fun, so when we were coming home from the beach both Abbey and Brandon, Brant and I talked a little bit about what was happening.. Since then, Abbey has started fall ball... I have resolved all of my drama since the last season of ball.. (A weight completely lifted off of my shoulders) My husband and I are doing better than ever, and my kids seem the happiest they have ever been.. My advice to anyone experiencing a life altering event (with drama involved).. Resolve all unneeded drama, live life to the fullest, love, laugh.. We only have One Life to Live..
