Freezer Full....

My boys headed off to Deer Camp yesterday morning.. They love spending time together and it gives me and opportunity to have some time with my girls.. So in the midst of my last minute shopping I get a call last night around 5, it was my boy.. Brandon had killed, from 100+ yards, a four point!! WOW!! I have to brag on him.. Brant got on the phone with me and told me that he still stands amazed at how he made the shot and managed to hit him in the chest.. He said that the deer was looking at him like this....

That it took Brandon a minute and his knees were shaking.. Brant said, "Buddy stop shaking so you can make a clear shot.." And Brant said that Brandon told him, "It's not like I can help it, look at that BIG deer!!".... Ha.. What a wonderful end to the day yesterday and not to mention we are going to have a freezer full of good ole deer meat and sausage.. Meanwhile, Abbey hung out with Brant's mom and had a girl day.. They went to see Avatar, ran some errands and had some lunch.. This afternoon I leave work early and get to spend it with my family... We are going to open presents and have some dinner at Brant's parents house so that my children can have Christmas with us before they leave to go to their dad's.. They sure will get to open lots this year!! Ahh the joys of being a kid!! From my family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas..
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch of their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
