We Will Miss You..

Oh Lord, how I need you in this time of sorrow.. Your word declares that every person has an appointed time to die.. I know that You are in complete control and nothing happens that You do not allow.. Therefore, I ask that You help me to accept your decision to allow my grandfather to pass away at this time.. Lord, thank You for being my stronghold in this day of trouble.. Let Your unfailing love comfort myself and my family now just as You promised.. Help me to be a source of encouragement and consolation to others who are also grieving this loss.. Dont let Satan torment any of us with remorseful thoughts of what we did or did not do for Papaw during his lifetime.. I stand in faith that he was in right standing with You and that we will be reunited for all eternity when Jesus returns at His second coming.. Now, Lord, teach those of us who remain to consider our own mortality and the brevity of life so we may apply our hearts to wisdom in how we spend our days here on earth.. In Your most gracious and Holy name.. Amen
