Dont Avoid Hard Work..

For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seens grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.. Hebrews 12:11


An undisciplined person looks for ways to avoid hard work.. Passivity prevails in our culture; everything is geared toward making life easier: ride the escalator, take the elevator, get fast food carryout.. But the easy way is not always the best way..

Just as we need to exercise our bodies, so we also need to exercise our faith by facing difficult challenges.. Use faith to forgive those who offend you and to trust God when you cant see how problems will be solved.. Soon you will enjoy a harvest of righteousness from the discipline you endure today..

You cant deal with problems by running away from them or avoiding them.. It never works out that way.. I have been running marathon now for 9 weeks.. At this point I am weak and tired and have stopped running.. I am allowing myself the opportunity to rest and pray.. I need that.. Things are tough.. All I can do is surround myself with great Christian people who will be there for me through the tough times.. God has given me the ability to have a peace in my heart right now.. I hope that you guys have a peace in your heart as well..
