Listen to God..

Commit your way to the Lord: trust also in Him and He will bring to pass..
Psalm 37:5

We are all eager for our situations and relationships to change, but nothing will change in our lives without knowledge of God's Word.. In Hosea 4:6 God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Change come through prayer, and then through waiting patiently on God.. While we are waiting for God to solve our problems, we are not to complain to everybody else about our situation..

God tells us to trust Him.. He is not asking us to trust the people involved in our problems.. He is asking us to trust Him.. There is a difference.. He is faithful to rescue us from all our troubles..

**Wow what a powerful devotion.. With what is happening in my life I have always wanted change for the better and I wanted it selfishly, RIGHT NOW.. I can tell you that I have had my nose to the ground in prayer for the last two weeks.. How awful? I have not prayed diligently about anything in my life until I fall short of being happy.. It only happens when I am sad, angry, afraid, lonely, disappointed.. I beg the Lord for help in my shortcomings..

Please solve my problems, Lord.. I know that you teach patience to those even through the hardest situations.. I need you and want for things to get better for me.. Please allow me to build more trust in you so that the path that you have for me, I can walk on.. Help me to be a patient woman whose only desire is to know and grow to you more.. Please heal my heart and let me begin to forgive those who have hurt me, because I know if I do not forgive you can not forgive me for my sins.. I know that unforgiveness will ultimately ruin my day.. Help me to learn to pray quickly to you when someone hurts me, so that they can be forgive and resentment will not set in quickly.. This is the path that I want my life to start on today..
