Bobby and Lindsey's birthday cakes..

Okay Okay.. I really could kick myself for spending so much time on these cakes and yet still didnt grab my camera at the last min to take a quick picture.. Bobby took these pictures with his iphone.. One of them turned out and one of them didnt.. But I still wanted to let you guys see both pics to get the effect!! I just made them both little mini cakes.. Bobby's was round, chocolate on chocolate and because he has a Culinary degree, I sculpted (out of fondant) a chef's hat, cleaver and wooden spoon.. For Lindsey's cake she had a square, white with buttercream and I made an "L" out of fondant and painted it yellow with some food coloring.. I also used brown along the edges and yellow to make a cute design around the cake.. We all met at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for some dinner and celebrated together.. Happy Birthday Bobby and Lindsey!!
